vTip # 30 - Downloading Complimentary vForms Upgrades and Enhanced Library Forms

InterActive vForms upgrades and enhancements to the standard vForms library of forms can be downloaded on a complimentary basis using InterActive vForms. The standard library of 55 InterActive forms are constantly being upgraded and enhanced by the technical staff at vLoanPort. We have a standing policy of welcoming any suggestions from our users on how to improve InterActive vForms and the library of vForms for you!

STEP ONE: Downloading vForm Upgrades and Enhanced Forms

InterActive vForms is programmed to ask the vForms user to download the current version and enhanced forms for InterActive vForms users. This prompt will appear on your vForms screens every 25 days. vForm users can also upgrade to the current version of vForms anytime by following these steps:

  1. Open vForms by clicking on the vForms icon on your desktop.
  2. Click on "Help", "Check for Updates".

  1. A confirm screen will appear asking to "Check for Library Updates?", click "YES".
  2. A confirm screen will appear at the first form that can be updated in InterActive vForms. You will be given four options:
  1. Yes (select this button to update this particular form).
  2. No (select this button to not update this particular form).
  3. Cancel (by selecting this cancel button, you will cancel the total update program and process).
  4. Yes to All (by selecting this button, InterActive vForms will upgrade all forms in your library that have been enhanced by vLoanPort).

WARNING: If you have personally made changes to any of the standard vForms and especially the RTF documents, please be aware that by selecting "Yes" or "Yes to All" in this process, InterActive vForms will download our current forms in their updated status, overwrite your changes, and you will lose your personal edits.  If you have questions or concerns, please call us for advice before updating your vForms.

  1. After you have updated your vForms, a confirm screen will appear asking you to "Add New Forms?", click on YES. If new forms have been added to the standard library of forms, these forms will then be added to your library of vForms.
  2. A confirm screen asking you to "Check for Program Updates?" will appear. Select YES if you wish to update to the current version of vForms. The current version of InterActive vForms will be downloaded to your computer. Follow the prompts to complete the process.
