vTip #1 - InterActive vForms introduction:

Default Options Screen

We have installed a new default screen for InterActive vForms. This screen will allow each user to set five default values and settings for use with InterActive vForms. These screen options will be installed when you download the latest version of vForms by going to "Help" in vForms and clicking on "Check for Updates".

To gain access to this default screen and make your appropriate selections, perform the following:

  1. Open vForms.
  2. Click on Tools, Options.
  3. Click on the Defaults Tab.

At the vForms Options/Settings Screen, you will be able to elect the following:

Show Menu Captions
When selected, your icons on the front page of vForms will automatically be named.

Show Document Order Column
When selected, this will allow you to select the printer or email order for your vForms

Convert UPPER to Mixed Case
When selected, this will automatically convert data in all capital letters to proper structure in your vForms

Use External RTF
When selected, your RTF emails and letters will be viewed and edited using a word format, otherwise you will only be able to view these RTF emails or letters within vForms.

Use External PDF Support
Select this only if you own the full Adobe Acrobat Product and do not wish to use the free reader version with vForms.

Use Clients not Borrowers
When selected, the Borrowers icon on your front page will be renamed to Clients (no data change, just the screen title).
