School of Mortgage Lending Selects vForms to Streamline Online Training

Redmond, Wash. – vLoanPort continues to diversify the core uses for its software solution, Interactive vForms. Thought of as primarily a software application to help mortgage professionals efficiently market and originate more loans, vForms is branching out into educating and certifying brokers with the recent signing of Bellevue, Wash.-based School of Mortgage Lending.

“This signing demonstrates the flexibility of vForms,” said Randy Riffe, CEO and co-founder of vLoanPort. “Its functionality can be tailored to address any number of tasks. Many of our clients use vForms to support all aspects of business, not just marketing and origination. Under the terms of the agreement, vLoanPort is tailoring its software solution to integrate with the School of Mortgage Lending’s forms for homework, registration and quizzes. All the homework, registration and quizzes on the school’s Web site are being converted to pdf documents. Using the vForms’ technology, the data-entry points on those documents are linked to the legacy systems at the School of Mortgage Lending.

“We are turning all of the assignments in the school’s correspondence and online courses into truly ‘intelligent documents’ by adding the vForms technology,” said Mike Petryk, CTO and co-founder of vLoanPort. “For example, whenever a student completes a homework assignment, the information will automatically download from the school’s Web site into its Goldmine database. Furthermore, the technology instantaneously grades the assignment and E-mails the results to the student.”

By adding vForms to the correspondence and online courses, the School of Mortgage Lending is automating the data entry and grading that consumes much time. It also is streamlining the education and certification process for its clients.
